We used SCA to store our furniture and belongings for 6 months for a house move. The team couldn't be more helpful, and it was always easy to get hold of someone if I needed any help. Great value for money, and particularly appreciated being able to drive right up to the unit - really useful. Can be a bit tight driving round the site, and you could sometimes get trapped if there was someone else parked up at their unit. But that didn't happen much, and people were helpful and moved out of the way if you needed them to. Thanks SCA - if we need storage again, we know where to go! :)

Absolutely outstanding experience with City Self Storage! From start to finish, the whole process was smooth, professional, and genuinely stress-free. The staff went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The facility itself is spotless, secure, and really well maintained — you can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do. Access was easy, everything was clearly explained, and I always felt confident that my belongings were in safe hands. What really stood out though was the customer service — friendly, responsive, and actually caring, which is rare these days. It made a huge difference and turned what could’ve been a hassle into a really positive experience. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly. If you’re looking for storage, this is the place to go! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was forced to enter a phone number into their website to view prices for the Sheffield branch a few weeks ago, with no option to consent to being called, and disregarded them when they turned out to be more expensive than the alternatives. Over the next few days I received no less than 8 phone calls from the Rotherham branch, the first few within hours of each other, and would probably have been more if I hadn't blocked and reported them as spam. Since then I've now also been called by their Sunderland branch, forcing me to go to the trouble of leaving a negative review, which I rarely do, so this incompetent company finally gets the hint that it's 2026 and customers do not want to subject themselves to a spam campaign for the rest of their lives just for the privilege of getting a quote.

Hi .l was with this storage company for over 2 years and the security was Brilliant and their units are very clean. I would recommend this self storage company to everyone. I had to end my business with them from the 1st of December as l no longer needed anything to be stored no more. So thank you 😊
