Privacy policy

Privacy policy for Find My Self Storage findmyselfstorage.co.uk lists self storage facilities and business and archive storage providers throughout the UK. The site is operated by findmyselfstorage.co.uk; you can reach us at [email protected] with any privacy questions.

We don't collect data through forms There are no booking forms, enquiry forms or user accounts on this site, so nothing is knowingly collected from you when you browse.

Automatically logged technical data Your browser does, however, automatically send some standard technical information to our servers each time you visit a page - such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed - which is kept in ordinary server logs for security and maintenance purposes.

How the storage facility listings are built The self storage and archive storage companies shown on the site, together with their ratings and reviews, are compiled from publicly available Google Maps listings rather than being provided to us directly. If you operate a storage facility and would like your listing corrected or removed, email [email protected].

Cookies and advertising Cookies may be used on the site for analytics and to support advertising. Advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies to serve adverts based on your interests. You can review and adjust these settings at myadcenter.google.com.

Your data protection rights You have rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, including the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Write to [email protected] to exercise these rights. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
