I’ve used this storage company twice. The first time, the process was really smooth from start to finish, and I appreciated that the one price included everything. With most student storage companies, the full price isn’t clear and extra fees are often added, so this was a big plus. My items were handed with care and communication was really good, with the time slots being given and a call being given 10 mins before they arrived to collect/deliver. This year, I did experience some hiccups. I asked four weeks in advance for a Sunday delivery slot because my accommodation only allowed key collection on Saturday or Sunday. Initially, I was told to email again in early September and when I did, I was told I’d incur a £60 charge for Sunday. I would have been happy to pay £20–£30, as the distance from their warehouse to my accommodation is only a 10 min drive, so the delivery itself would have taken less than 30 minutes. This charge isn’t mentioned anywhere on their website or in the terms and conditions, which claim “no hidden charges” and “weekend collections included.” Just mentioning this so that if you do wish to proceed, be wary if you have fixed commitments, as this is the second time I’ve had to rearrange my personal obligations to accommodate them. When I pointed this out, the tone of communication often felt dismissive or slightly unprofessional, which added unnecessary stress. Even when they did eventually agree to deliver on Saturday, it came with passive-aggressive comments about students in general rather than a straightforward confirmation.

I honestly didn’t know about them until a friend recommended that I should try them and it is fair to say that I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the service I received and at the price it was given at. From coming to collect my boxes to delivering them back to me after, I was honestly so happy and thankful, it made the move so much easier.
