Pink Self Storage Manchester Old Trafford, on Trafford Park Road, offers container storage that reviewers describe as quick to set up, with number-plate recognition controlling gate access and units arriving with a small welcome pack of water and sweets. Alice is named for resolving an online payment issue by phone, and several reviewers praise the site as clean and well kept, though single-file access lanes mean vehicles occasionally have to wait for one another. A recurring and significant complaint concerns pricing: several long-term customers describe promotional rates that later rise sharply and with little notice, sometimes doubling within weeks of signing up, which a number of reviewers say undermines an otherwise convenient service. As a container storage provider in Manchester, Pink Self Storage Manchester Old Trafford holds a 4.6-star average from 347 Google reviews.

Alice was great on the phone! Had an issue with payment online so I phoned up and she was very attentive. As a university student it’s really difficult sorting storage out during moving period and it was very easy booking with pink storage- would definitely recommend!!
Very smooth and efficient process from when I booked the unit to accessing my he site. Instructions clear online and on site. Would recommend!
Fantastic experience! Extremely easy to book a storage unit and excellent value for money. Would defineitely recommend most highly.
Easy to enter the facility and the unit. The one small issue is the access-ways are only wide enough for one vehicle so if someone else is parked up you may have to carry your items round their vehicle and wait for them to leave so that you can get out too.
The sign up process is easy. The site is well kept. The storage container is nice, big. We did struggle to use the lock at first as the guidance on the container isn't that clear. But got it in the end. That could probably be included with a video in an email or text message during onboarding. I did speak to someone on site who was actually leaving their storage space, who said that they had bumped his price up to £53 a week, much different to the promotional and standard quote price given by this company, so do beware of any price changes. We will be keeping an eye on the price and probably will leave before it gets too expensive.
Absolute Scammers!!!!! Their whole selling point is cheap price, but then they increase them whenever they like at a very short notice (a day or two). They strategically wait for you to settle in and put as much stuff and once they know you have a lot of things in storage and it would be difficult to move they ramp up the price. They started with an offer of £12.50 per week for 8 weeks which was good then doubling it however shortly after that I got asked that I have to pay £50 now and this will come into place only in 2 days which made it impossible to move my stuff. If that wasn’t enough a week or so later they in increased it further to almost £70 per week! And keep in mind this is on the first floor with no lifts. When I inquired about this their excuse was that other places charge more so they should be able to do so as well which was quite pathetic as they tend to be agreed prices which don’t randomly double overnight and actually over premium services. For short term I would maybe consider it but anything longer than couple of weeks please avoid, you’re better off going to some nearby places which may appear more expensive but in the long run will turn out to be cheaper.
