Beckton Container Self Storage provides container storage facilities in Beckton, London. The hirer is solely responsible for the security of the container and its contents while occupied, and must insure the full value of the contents with first-class insurers. Beckton Storage does not insure goods stored on site. The site or container may not be used as a living or postal address. Spray painting, mechanical or engineering work, and any alteration, attachment or defacement of container surfaces are prohibited. Storing food or perishable goods is prohibited unless protected from vermin. Combustible or flammable materials or liquids such as paint, petrol and oil are prohibited, as are firearms, explosives, chemicals, radioactive or biological agents, toxic waste and asbestos.

Living or deceased creatures, items emitting smells, odours or fumes, and illegal or banned substances are also prohibited. Access hours are determined at the time of rent. Only the hirer and persons authorised in writing or accompanied by the hirer may access the containers. Beckton Storage may enter the container if required by the Police, Fire service, Local Authority, Court order, HMCIR, or in an emergency. The agreement may not be transferred to any other persons or organisations. Rent may be reviewed according to market conditions with 30 days' written notice. Notice of not less than 30 days in writing is required to terminate and empty the containers.

If rent is unpaid, the account and access rights may be suspended, with three payment reminders issued. If any outstanding sum is payable after 42 days from the due date, Beckton Storage may sell some or all of the goods. Beckton Storage is not responsible for loss of profits, business opportunity, goodwill or other economic loss when containers are used for commercial purposes. In case of natural disaster, strike, fire, government action or other causes outside its reasonable control, Beckton Storage is not responsible for a period up to 21 days. Value added tax at 20% is included in the charge applicable to all charges. Payments for the minimum agreed period are payable in advance in full.
