UCI Self Storage

UCI Self Storage is a self storage facility in Leicester. It is locally owned and operated. The company offers container-style storage units with drive-up access, including 20ft storage containers. Rental terms are month-to-month, with flexible long or short term hire. It serves both business and personal customers. The site is secured with CCTV, perimeter fencing, external alarms and access control.

It is located minutes from Leicester city centre with access from surrounding areas and major roads. Storage is available for furniture, appliances and household goods, business stock, personal items, sports and leisure equipment, seasonal items, office equipment and documents, student storage, e-commerce stock, and tools and equipment for tradespeople.

Leicester customers repeatedly praise the secure, clean and well-maintained containers at this storage facility, with reviewers noting that the units are dry and their contents protected throughout long-term use. Several describe the site as very safe, citing alarms and CCTV, and mention that padlocks are supplied, making it easy to move in quickly. A recurring theme is the helpfulness of manager Nick or Nik, who is described as easy to reach, patient with questions and willing to extend contracts to suit changing needs, including during a house move, a house extension and the difficult task of taking over a lock-up after a bereavement.

Business users storing equipment and stock note the affordable pricing for containers and the reliable, trouble-free service over several years, while others value the smooth handover of units and the tidy, well-laid-out site. The flexibility of access around the clock comes up often, as does the overall sense that belongings are safe. Reviewers also highlight the friendly, patient approach when helping customers with less experience, and the consistency of service for small local businesses. The strongest recurring point is the ease of dealing with staff and the confidence that items are held securely.
