Deeping Direct

Deeping Direct is a UK family-run business established in 1970 by Alan A Eve. The company, legally Deeping Direct Limited and formerly known as Deeping Direct Deliveries, has over 50 years of experience and more than 5000 customers. It is a member of the Road Haulage Association. Deeping Direct offers self storage, container hire and sales, MOT, servicing and repairs, and crane and transport services.

Its self storage facility has over 260 units on site, with the first self store units occupied around 2007, and container hire for storage began around 1995. The company has been an MOT test centre for over 20 years, handling cars, motorcycles, vans, and trucks (class 1, 2, 4, and 7). Its lorry mounted cranes can move up to 10 tons and have up to a 50ft reach. Deeping Direct serves locations including Peterborough, Stamford, Bourne, Spalding, Grantham, Corby, Huntingdon, Wisbech, Cambridge, Kings Lynn, Yaxley, Whittlesey, Oakham, Kettering, and Boston.

Storage units that are easy to access form the core of what customers describe at this Market Deeping business, with reviewers highlighting clean, secure and well-maintained facilities. Several customers mention the convenience of a mobile gate code that allows entry at any time, describing the arrangement as straightforward and ingenious. The team, and particularly Karl alongside Dan, recurs in accounts as friendly, supportive and accommodating, with prompt invoicing noted as keeping everything up to date. Pricing is repeatedly characterised as competitive and reasonable, and the hire process itself is described as simple to arrange.

Reviewers also value the site's added practicalities, including the ability to have an MOT carried out on the premises, which suits those storing vehicles. Security and tidiness come up often, with the grounds said to be kept in excellent order. Longer-term users who stored items over several months report a consistent experience, and shorter hires are spoken of in the same terms. A local wildlife charity has publicly acknowledged the support received, indicating the company's willingness to assist community projects. The recurring thread across feedback is straightforward dealing combined with safe, accessible storage.
