StorageMart is a self storage provider founded in 1999 in Columbia, Missouri, by Gordon and Mickey Burnam. The company is family-owned and privately operated, with four generations of the Burnam family working in the business today. It expanded into the United Kingdom in 2016 and operates more than 250 locations across the US, Canada, and UK.
StorageMart offers drive-up accessible storage units, office space for Brighton businesses, and flexible month-to-month leases, and never requires a deposit. Each unit is cleaned top to bottom before move-in, and every employee undergoes an award-winning training program. StorageMart serves residents, businesses, and students across East Sussex, Kemptown, and Hanover.

Went into get a couple of storage boxes, such a nice and helpful lad at the front desk. He measure out them boxes for me to provide accurate dimensions. Very friendly staff here
Absolutely amazing service and experience at Storagemart Freshfield. Rented a unit for 2 years at a very reasonable price. Convenient access and never had problems parking or loading. Always amazing personal service when needed - Simon always remembers us by name. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Geoff’s customer service was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. He represented the company with a kind, courteous approach which ensures if we decide to store our belongings, it will be here. We will also have no hesitation recommending the company to friends and family.
Hi - visited Stirage Mart to get information about size, pricing etc and Simon on reception was absolutely brilliant. He explained everything to me and because i was worroed I might need a larger unit assured me that if my stuff wouldnt all go in the one I'd ordered then i could upgrade on the day. He calmed my jitters and lrft me feeling quietly assured. Very professional, helpful and friendly, Simon is the perfect guy to have face to face interactions with customers as hes so good with us. The Storage Mart team at Freshfield Estate are superb and have been really helpful to us on numerous occasions. We can’t fault the local support at all. However, we are long term customers and would welcome some insight and transparency into the company’s pricing strategy as we have experienced some disproportionate and surprising increases that have led us to consider moving to a different facility.
I used StorageMart during my move from London to Brighton, and they provided a reliable and helpful service throughout. Simon and Geoff arranged the storage setup remotely, which saved me from having to travel down to Brighton just to complete paperwork. They also helped make sure I had the right size unit as my belongings arrived and assisted with coordinating deliveries, including some large paintings and a second removal shipment. Overall, everything was handled smoothly and professionally, which made the moving process much easier.
Geoff and Simon were amazing! I have rented a few units for over a year now and they both have been always polite and helpful and I am very happy with your service 👍 all the best S P Belcher
