Edit: They have recently given everyone on the site what appears to be one month’s notice to choose between removing all their belongings and treating the storage agreement as terminated, moving the contents themselves into a container at a new site, or allowing their existing container to be relocated - presumably while expecting you to sign a waiver for any damage caused to the items inside. Extremely inconsiderate and inconvenient. Any attempt to exclude liability for property damage caused by negligence may be subject to the reasonableness test under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. Signing such a waiver may therefore not prevent a customer from claiming compensation where damage results from negligence or mishandling. Also check with insurance whether your policy covers the container itself being relocated to another site. Please seek independent legal advice, as this should not be construed as legal advice - for legal reasons, of course. ---- The site regularly has items stored around the yard outside containers, and even scrap cars. Someone had written “please move, can’t access my unit” across the window of a car, demonstrating a lack of consideration for other users. It feels more like a waste processing yard than a properly controlled storage facility. Fridge freezers appear to have been dismantled on site, raising environmental and safety concerns. Waste has clearly been burned on site. On top of that there are reports of previous break-ins and thefts from units. All these issues combined make me question how effective security and rule enforcement really are. This is particularly disappointing given recent price increases. As things stand, I would not recommend Key Storage Leeds. There is one cheaper place in the Leeds area without these problems. If the situation improves in the future (and I have not yet relocated to another storage facility), I will update this review.

I have used key storage since 2018 and they have always gone above and beyond for me, clear invoices, clean space and really well priced. Customer services have always provided the best possible out come for me. Their access is easy and simple. Highly recommended.

Fantastic site, tidy and very secure. Excellent price and condition of containers is spot on.
