About the company

J&J Global Fulfilment was founded in 2010 by James Hyde and James Strachan, originally under the name James and James Fulfilment. In November 2025, the company joined the QLS Group. It operates 12 global fulfilment centres and employs over 500 people. The company serves more than 400 global clients across the United Kingdom, Europe, United States, Canada and Australia. Its services include eCommerce Fulfilment, Third-Party Logistics (3PL) and Marketplace Fulfilment, supported by its ControlPort™ software platform and Navigator™ growth consultative services.

J&J has shipped over 47 million orders and has received two Queen's Awards for Enterprise and International Trade. It has also been listed twice on the Sunday Times' list of 100 fastest growing UK businesses. Its fulfilment expertise spans industries such as cosmetics and beauty, pet and animal supplies, electronics, toys and games, fashion and apparel, stationery and gifts, food and drink, organic products, health and supplements, and subscription boxes.

What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

J&J Global Fulfilment handles warehousing and logistics for e-commerce retailers, and long-standing clients describe a partnership that has supported their growth across several years. Praise centres on how quickly and accurately stock leaves the facility, with buyers seldom raising complaints, and on the transparency the systems give into orders, inventory and finances. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is how sudden spikes in demand are absorbed, including one occasion when thousands of orders were cleared after managers rallied staff and brought in extra help to tackle the backlog.

Communication features strongly, with swift replies and a readiness to work through problems, and Nathalie is named for her courteous, professional manner. Newcomers to the fulfilment world value being coached through the set-up, while the reporting is credited with helping them see their business objectively. Against this, dissatisfied clients describe slow or absent support, departments failing to communicate with one another, unresolved tickets and repeated chasing for updates.

One small company reports months of miscommunication and incomplete EU paperwork that led to customers being charged twice in customs fees, undoing the streamlined dispatch it had sought. Refunds and accounting matters draw praise when settled fast, yet stall when administration drags, so the operation impresses on throughput, stock visibility and staff commitment while support consistency, coordination and paperwork are the frustrations raised.

Where to start? Partnering with J&J has been the most expensive mistake since starting our business. They leveraged control over our stock, went back on agreed terms, and cost us over £3,000 in setup fees without a single order ever being fulfilled. Would strongly suggest finding a fulfilment company elsewhere as we spent over a year trying to onboard with this company without a single order ever being sent and resulting in us paying huge fees. Then having our own stock held hostage in their warehouse and being told we were unable to collect to until there bills had been paid. If you want to see all the details on our experience with J&J head over to there Trust Pilot page were we were able to leave a full review.

The worst 3PL you could ever work with. J&J is an absolute nightmare and a complete scam operation. Communication is beyond horrendous. Most of the time they simply ignore you and do not bother replying. When you do finally get a response, your problems are left unresolved for weeks. We have had issues sitting there for three to four weeks with no action. It is a complete waste of time, energy, and causes constant stress. The hidden fees are outrageous. They never properly explain the minimum pick order fees, extra charges, and restrictive contract terms when you sign up. You only start discovering all of this once you are already locked in. It feels deliberately misleading. Leaving them is even worse. They make it almost impossible to exit the contract, demand huge amounts of money, and effectively hold your stock hostage. The costs they try to charge to leave are ridiculous and feel like nothing more than a way to trap businesses and squeeze as much money out of them as possible. This company does not care about its customers, its service, or the damage it causes to businesses. The entire operation feels designed to pull companies into contracts and drain them with hidden fees and exit charges. Avoid J&J at all costs. Do not make the same mistake we did. They will cause massive stress, cost you a huge amount of money, and seriously damage your business. If you value your time, your reputation, and your sanity, stay as far away from this company as possible.

As a company we signed up with J&J Fulfilment with the hopes that they would streamline our process of dispatching customer orders which would allow us as a small company to free up time to focus on producing new products and managing other aspects of our business. Instead, we received months of miscommunication, the revelation that important EU paperwork was never completed resulting in our customers being charged twice for custom fees and having to assign one of our team to almost exclusively work to resolve issues caused by J&J and having to follow up with them constantly. The whole situation has been incredibly frustrating for us, leading to a significant impact on not only our financial stability - due to J&J ignoring our preferred courier as stated in the contract (they insisted that FedEx and DPD were cheaper than Royal Mail) but also the mental and emotional well-being of the team due to the stress of their mistakes and the impact on our relationship with our customers. As a small business (we have less than 10 employees) we would not recommend J&J at all - especially if you would only like to ship via Royal Mail and have a large customer base outside of the UK. During our time there, from November 2024 until March 2025 we dealt with seven representatives of the company in an attempt to resolve our issues and it was only Hollie and Claudine who appeared compassionate and empathetic towards our situation. That being said, it took over a month of us to receive our final invoice as we had to request it multiple times in order to successfully end our business relationship with them.

I found that the company ADAMANS distributes from here, so feel it fair to let James and James know they're distributing fake items. I was very impressed with the look of the ADAMANS website and the wide range of pieces available, the super fast delivery and the quality packaging was equally impressive. What really disappointed me was the lack of accuracy in the item description on the website. Had the items had been REAL white gold, I'd have kept them. Instead, I was sold something that was white gold inspired. It was evident that this was costume jewellery, and should have been advertised as much. The seams were visible on the clasp and it looked plastic. There were no hallmarks whatsoever and no certification was included as the website states. The misleading advertising needs to be called out. Ironically, I purchased a similar chain for my dog from eBay. It looks and feels exactly the same, but cost far less. The refund process was good, despite what other custers have shared of their experience. I got a response pretty quickly to my email and refund label was sent over for me to post back. My advice, keep the packaging, as you may want to return your order upon closer inspection as the items do not appear to be as advertised. BEWARE!!

I wish I could give zero stars. Was not informed on deposits costs (£2000+) or set up fees (£700) by the lady who signed me up. As soon as I sign the contract to proceed, i'd been invoiced the above. I decided I did not want to proceed due to the reasons above and I have now been threatened to go to court to pay the sum of over £700 for 'set up' fees, that I wasn't aware of and which I will categorically not pay (and have been advised not to by my lawyer). I haven't even signed into their online portal and receive weekly emails from James & James saying 'to start your setup, sign in' but yet i'm still being threatened that I must pay a setup fee. Baring in mind, my stock was not sent to them, I was not made aware of the costs AND i'm receiving emails to 'start' setup. This company are a disgrace, overpriced and I would avoid at all costs. All they want to do is take your money, even during these hard times. Imagine trying to make someone pay £700 for a service they haven't used? Despite what a contract says (even though it was clearly manipulated in bad faith), there's no human touch to this poor excuse of a company.

We have had a great experience working with James & James for a few years now. Most importantly, our customers love the fast shipping time and accuracy of orders. We almost never receive complaints. Our corporate team loves the visibility into every aspect of our orders, inventory and finances with this facility, and have had great experience when working with Customer Service, which is not needed often. Great team and great facility.
